Emergency calls

Owaa is not an E911 provider. We explicitly block recognized emergency numbers (911, 112, 999, 110, 119, 120, 000, 111, and many others worldwide). If you need emergency help, dial your local emergency number directly from your phone, not through Owaa.

Premium & short-code numbers

Premium-rate numbers, shared-cost numbers, and short codes are rejected before dialing to protect you from unexpected charges.

AI Phone Agent (outbound)

The AI Phone Agent places authorized outbound calls on your behalf. Targets are restricted to business numbers (consumer numbers are blocked via carrier geo-permissions). Voice cloning is not part of this feature today; if added in a future release it will require explicit recorded consent and will keep the same business-only restriction.

TCPA (United States)

TCPA rules apply to authorized outbound calls placed by the AI Phone Agent: targets are restricted to verified business numbers, the calling-hour window is enforced, and we honor do-not-call list signals. Hotline and web calls are user-initiated, so TCPA does not apply to those flows.

Carrier geo-permissions

Our US toll-free number routes calls internationally via Twilio with geo-permissions enabled per destination. If your destination country is not covered, the dial will be rejected with a clear error.
